WOW its been awhile

Makala is now 4 1/2 months old! She is on solid foods and as of today she can roll over both directions!!! Blake is working for CDOT which is nice steady income but he is out of town 4 days a week... We have recently started scrapping just about everything we can get our hands on, we have also started buyin, fixing and re-selling cars. All of this started as a way for us to pay for our wedding, wich by the way is only a month away! I have also started to make Tutus ... Here is todays Facebook post just to get a feel of how busy we are..."Life seems so much more entertaining when Blay is home.... But today I Got my wedding dress, reception dishes, bought a car, ordered groomsmen shirts, ordered a bridemaids dress, made taco salad, helped dad take a truck back and forth from place to place, All while taking care of Makala and Watching another milestone...SHE ROLLED FROM BACK TO FRONT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Ugh I'm kinda tired"
And thats only one days work!!! WOW hmmmm well we sold Blakes Nova and dad randomly sold his car hauler, which we now kinda regret cause it would come in hand lately. We have also recently takin a road trip every weekend for about a month.... First was Gateway car show! Then Delta for scrap, Then Delta again for dinner at zaks and mennonite food, Last week was Hayden for an Eclipse, which Miah plans to buy. And this week we are going back to the mennonites in Delta for some meats and cheeses for the wedding!!!! Been super busy sorry I haven been on in ages.

Road Trip!

Makala's first road trip was quite basic we thought... Glenwood and back... just gotta pick up a truck :) ... Who would have thought that a deathly blizzard would hit on the way home. OMG The trip there took just about an hour like it should, the trip home on the other hand after an intently expensive dinner took over 2 hours. Holy crap our car has crap tires, crap breaks, and crap wiper blades. Not only was all that contributing to my nerves but my baby was hungry and people suck at driving in weather...Then we got stuck behind a damn plow truck ugh it was a long ass trip....

What a day...

So Blake got up this morning so he could take his cdl driving test. Well first of all he got to 5 star and the guy wasn't even there he was twenty minutes late, then the dmv didn't give him a permit that allowed air brakes. So we had to go to the dmv and take that test, then back to 5 star. Luckily the guy was willing to work with us so we didn't have to make another appointment. If all goes well it will be worth it and we will have a job with the state by the end of it all...

Lets Catch Up A Little

Baby Shower...

                 December 11, 2010.

                 Mom and I spent hours on all our awesome decorations. We made 2 different diaper cakes and a baby food cake, which we had never seen or heard of so we faked it and it looked amazing. Then we bought some little white christmas trees and covered them in baby ornaments and baby toys...they were so cute. The night was filled with overfilled with games, And at the end of the night everyone left with a premie diaper filled with candy! Yummy!!!



Blay's Birthday...

                  Blake wanted an ugly sweater party so thats what we did. The winners were Jenn and Eli who both walked away with a panful of homemade caramels...mmmmm.... I baked and decorated the cake it was a carrot cake with awesome foundant decorations, a chocolate truck, and a half a naked Barbie. Which took freaking forever to make...But anything to make my husband happy is totally worth it.

CHRISTMAS!!!

                   Blake and I had our Christmas a few days early so that we could enjoy Christmas just the two of us. Which was filled with lots of cheese, candy, perfumes, baby things, tools, cookware, and an awesome hiking baby backpack!!!! Loved it!!! Then on Christmas morning we drove out to Loma and had Christmas with his family, after that we came back home and enjoyed Christmas with my family...To bad dad had to work =(
